1. About the seller

The Totagars' Co-Operative Sale Society Ltd. (“TSS”) is a co-operative society registered in Karnataka and serving farmer members since 1923. Its retail Super Market operates from the four-floor Shripad Hegde Kadave Complex at New Market Yard, Sirsi (Uttara Kannada) – 581 402, Karnataka, India.

2. Goods we sell

The Super Market is a general retail store. Stock is arranged over four floors and an arrival section where goods are received, inspected, priced and labelled before they reach the shelves.

TSS also manufactures and sells its own branded products, including TSS Sweet Supari, TSS Dhara cattle feed and Green Gold fertilisers, and operates arecanut trading and a rice mill as separate branches of the society.

3. Services we provide

• Bus, train and flight ticket booking; mobile recharges and currency services
• Xerox, photography and document services
• Customer account opening, and information on insurance and shares
• Free medical check-up slips, on-site health centre and canteen
• Car driving lessons at concessional rates
• Buy-back of old utensils and old sarees; trading in banana, coconut and snacks
• Rate alerts for arecanut and groceries sent to members by message

Access to Vijaya Bank and K.D.C.C. Bank counters and their ATMs is available on the premises. These are operated by the respective banks and not by TSS.

4. Gold ornaments

Gold ornaments are sold from the TSS Gold cabin on the first floor. Purity is verified in the customer's presence before purchase and a purity certificate is issued with the ornament. The invoice separately itemises metal value, applicable making charges and taxes. TSS also purchases gold from members at the same cabin.

5. How prices are set

• All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR, ₹).
• Packaged goods are sold at or below the printed maximum retail price (MRP).
• Loose goods, vegetables, fruits and grains are priced by weight or measure at the rate displayed at the counter on the day of sale.
• Gold is priced on the day's prevailing rate for the verified purity, plus making charges and applicable taxes, each shown separately on the bill.
• GST and other statutory taxes are charged at the rates in force on the date of sale and are shown on the invoice.
• Prices, offers and discounts may change without prior notice. The price applicable is the one displayed or billed at the time of the transaction.

6. Accepted payment methods

Payment is collected at the billing counters of the Super Market and, where applicable, through our online payment gateway. We accept:

• Cash
• Debit and credit cards (swipe / tap at counter)
• UPI and other digital wallet payments
• Net banking, through the payment gateway
• Debit to a member's account held with the society, where the member is eligible

Card, UPI and net-banking payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway. TSS does not receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. See our Privacy Policy for how transaction data is handled.

7. Delivery & collection

• In store. The overwhelming majority of sales are over the counter, and goods are handed over immediately on payment. A bag-keeping facility and drop of purchases to your vehicle are available.
• Online orders. Orders received online are accepted for dispatch to Bangalore only. Dispatch timelines depend on the item and on stock, and are confirmed with you when the order is accepted.
• Large items. Delivery of furniture, appliances and other bulky goods is arranged case by case; any delivery charge is quoted before the sale is completed.
